We're hiring an Anaplan Developer (Architect) for IT Finance Domain team.
We are looking for an Anaplan Developer (Architect), to join our IT Finance Process Domain, part of the IT Process Domain Team. Our mission is to design, deliver, and manage the lifecycle of IT solutions that support business capability needs-ensuring alignment with IT architecture principles and enabling value creation through close collaboration with the business.
As an Anaplan Developer (Architect), you will play a key role in developing and enhancing Valmet's finance applications from an IT perspective. You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders, translating capability needs into scalable, high-quality Anaplan solutions.
We are looking for a person for a permanent position, and the role will initially include responsibilities related to a parental leave substitution. In this position, you will work close to the business and have the opportunity to influence Valmet's financial planning and reporting solutions. Our main location is Tikkurila, Vantaa, but you can also be based at one of our other key sites: Tampere or Jyväskylä.
What you will be accountable for:

Be responsible for Anaplan model building for Finance related solutions, translating complex business logic and spreadsheets into scalable, low-sparsity models using Anaplan best practices.

Design and maintain Anaplan models while driving model performance optimization and documentation.

Set up and operate life-cycle management pipelines, versioning, and quality assurance, helping with managing releases from development to deployment with clear governance.

Implement and support security and governance to meet Valmet's requirements.

Support integrations (imports/exports, automations) using Anaplan native capabilities (e.g. Cloud works, ADO)

Proactively provides ideas for new solutions and accelerators from technical perspective

Substitute Concept Owner: To manage development projects, and collect requirements for developments, organize design workshops, create definitions for developments co-operation with business stakeholders, and drive global testing, enable end-user adoption and global training.
What kind of Background we expect from you:

Master's/bachelor's degree or equivalent education e.g. information technology, business, economics or related major.

Anaplan Model Builder (Level 2) and The Anaplan Way training completed. Certified Model Builder preferred.

Min 3-4 years of hands-on Anaplan build experience; experience with financial planning solutions is preferred.

Practical experience with Anaplan application life-cycle management (ALM), user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation and stakeholder communication.

Integration skills across Anaplan capabilities (Cloud Works, Anaplan API, ADO). Skills with other scripting tools (e.g. SQL) and Microsoft Azure (ADF, Blob storage, Logic Apps) are a plus.

Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish.
