Application Manager, Machine Controls

Are you ready for new challenges as an Application Manager?

Valmet Automation is a leading supplier of automation solutions for customers in pulp and paper industries, power generation, marine and process industries.

We are now looking for Application Manager, Machine Controls who will develop our machine control application portfolio and support different Valmet units in using Valmet DNA automation platform for their machine control solutions. As Application Manager, you will work closely with project engineering, R&D and sales in Valmet Automation and other Valmet units. The position will be based in Tampere but also other main Valmet locations in Finland are possible. You will report to Product Group Director.

Requirements

You have M.Sc or B.Sc degree in relevant technology area. We expect you to have experience in pulp and/or paper processes and machine control solutions. You should also be familiar with Valmet DNA automation system.

We are looking for a person with good networking and communication skills and ability to work in matrix organization. Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
