About the role

Marioff is taking the next leap and returning to its original roots – becoming an independent organization. We are now building a new Marioff and expanding Marioff IT - Marioff Digital Team (DT). This is why Marioff is now hiring Cybersecurity Lead to join it in our Vantaa head office. In this role, you will enable versatile and secure development but also safe and agile continuity services. Your work is based on cooperation with key stakeholders covering people, processes, data and technologies. In the Marioff business, security issues have also vital role with external stakeholders.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team driving Marioff’s journey to be more secure and efficient with business-driven IT and services — supporting both Marine and Land businesses worldwide.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with business.
  • Collaborate with key teams to deploy security practices into daily business operations.
  • Define, maintain and deploy Marioff development roadmap for cyber and security.
  • Responsible for the overall operational and development budget for cybersecurity.
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in Marioff.
  • Cooperate and work with risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Evaluate, select and manage service and technology partners for cybersecurity solutions.
  • Manage the process for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents.
  • Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to defend against cyber threats.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to investigate and resolve security incidents.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for employees, contractors, and partners.

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Interest in continuous learning and readiness for both personal and professional growth.
  • Capabilities to approach problems analytically and interest to find and solve root causes.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise cybersecurity operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices in daily life.
  • Experience with security operations and technologies such as SOC, firewalls, VPN (Zscaler) intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with identity management, AD, Entra ID, SSO.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CE+, ISO27001 etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to work on-site at Marioff office at least part of the week, willingness to occasionally travel inside and outside Finland.
  • Interpersonal skills with multicultural teamwork attitude, customer-driven mindset
