At Gáldu, the front desk is more than a reception. It is the first impression of stillness, care, and presence.
We are looking for a Receptionist / Guest Services Assistant who understands that hospitality begins long before check-in - in the tone of voice, the eye contact, and the calm confidence of every interaction.
Gáldu is a premium boutique hotel in Finnish Lapland, located next to Urho Kekkonen National Park in Saariselkä. The hotel features 31 rooms, a high-quality restaurant, and a tranquil forest spa experience designed around calmness, nature, and understated luxury. We are proud to be part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, recognized among Travel + Leisures 100 Best New Hotels, and awarded among Finlands top hospitality destinations in the Falstaff Hotel Guide 2026 with 96 points.
You will be part of shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure, ensuring that every moment feels effortless, warm, and genuinely personal.
**In this role, you will:**
- Welcome guests into the world of Gáldu
- Guide arrivals, itineraries and departures with ease and clarity
- Share local knowledge and hotel experiences
- Support guests throughout their stay with thoughtful service
- Work closely with restaurant and housekeeping team
**We value:**
- Natural warmth and strong interpersonal skills
- A calm and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience in hospitality or guest service (preferred)
- Confidence in English, other languages are an asset (especially German, French, Spanish and Finnish)
