Hotel Operations Manager

We are looking for a Hotel Operations Manager to join our team in our new resort: Aito Igloo & Spa Resort, which will be one of the top luxury hotels and the most stunning getaway to discover the unique landscape of Lapland. We aim to deliver the best experience and privileged comfort to our customers as well as to value the sustainability of the planet.

Duration of the agreement: We are looking for potential candidates interested in this position for a longer period, but it will start with a 1 year contract from May 2026 with high possibilities to be extended.

Part-time position / Full time position

Requirements:
-Minimum Bachelors degree in hospitality, business administration, or a relevant field.
-Have experience in running or managing a hotel from scratch in Lapland Finland.
-Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel management or a similar role.
-Must have strong strong relevant experience of hotel management best practices and data entry software (MEWS).
-Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
-Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
-Must be fluent in English and at least one other native languages such as Spanish/French/Italian/Chinese.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
-Welcoming and registering guests once they arrive.
-Overseeing personnel, including receptionists, kitchen staff, spa staff and office employees.
-Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
-Collecting payments and maintaining records of budgets, funds, and expenses.
-Resolving issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
-Organizing activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
-Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotels services and amenities.
-Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners.
-Evaluating hotel performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules.
-Partaking in financial activities, including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments.
-Build strategic marketing plans for the luxury hotel market.
