Are you ready for the next step in your career? Join us as an Integration Architect and shape how Valmet builds scalable, sustainable and future ready integrations. In this role you will guide the evolution of our integration architecture as we phase out legacy platforms and move toward modern cloud-based solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable business data flow and a solid technical foundation for Valmet's digital transformation.
This is a hands-on and forward-looking role where you will influence architectural decisions, support integration platform transformation, and help teams build integrations that are cost efficient, robust, and aligned with business requirements.
Your responsibilities

You will own and develop Valmet's integration and API architecture at enterprise scale, ensuring it remains fit for purpose as technology and business needs evolve.

You will guide integration development practices across platforms and teams, promoting reusable patterns, quality and cost-efficient designs.

You will define and maintain the integration service technical roadmap and API strategy together with the responsible IT Service Manager.

You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, application and process owners, and external service providers to create robust and future-ready integration designs.

You will support the transition from legacy integration platforms to modern cloud native solutions and continuously improve performance, capacity usage, and operating models.
What we expect from you

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer science, or another relevant field.

You have strong experience in integration architecture, enterprise integrations, or API-led design.

You bring hands on understanding of modern integration platforms and cloud-based integration approaches.

You are collaborative, comfortable working with external vendors and development partners and have excellent English communication skills.

You take initiative and have the confidence to make architectural decisions and influence direction.
