We are looking for an efficient and service-minded IT Finance Solutions Specialist to join Georg Fischer's virtual IT team. You will be part of our virtual IT team and based in either our Helsinki, Finland or Hassfurt / Frankfurt, Germany offices. This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of financial processes combined with technical expertise.
In this role, you will develop and configure finance-related systems and manage initiatives and projects across all business segments. This is a global role in which you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Europe and North America to develop effective solutions for our customers through our ERP and related applications. You will also support business stakeholders together with internal teams and third-party partners.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the Finance modules in our Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system. Your role includes managing incidents, problems, and changes within the Finance area, as well as developing test scripts and performing functional testing in collaboration with business users. Your responsibilities also include:

Managing smaller projects and contributing to larger development initiatives

Maintaining system documentation and delivering knowledge-transfer sessions

Collaborating with vendors, implementation partners, and consultants

Working with business analysts and cross-functional teams to define requirements

Analyzing system usage, productivity, and key quality metrics
-
Staying up to date on relevant IT solutions and informing users about new functionality
Requirements
- Demonstrated ERP Finance expertise and understanding of enterprise-wide business and technical processes
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite configuration and functional setups or familiarity with SAP or other comparable ERP systems
- Strong PL/SQL skills and fluent communication in English
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- 2–5 years of relevant functional experience with business application systems
