IT Project Manager for a finance-related project

We're looking for a Project Manager, with a background in the Finance processes implementation in a global organization, ready to take lead of our large international client company's finance related project.

The responsibility of the Project Manager is to lead a project to develop and deploy a solution enabling Accounts Payable invoice automation. The tasks include for example project activity and resource planning, organizing project team, analyzing and managing risks, monitoring progress and status reporting to stakeholders. Working environment is very international and consists of internal and external resources. Working language is English.

The ideal candidate is able to work independently and to collaborate widely and influence various stakeholders with whom you may have limited authority (change management skills). The person is also results oriented and ready to take ownership in order to drive the project forward to conclusion. Ability to work in a dynamic environment is a must and the person also needs to be well organized and detail-oriented yet lean in ways of working as well as proficient in general project management practices. Knowledge of financial practices or experience in managing finance-related projects is a significant advantage.

This assignment starts with a fixed term period starting as soon as possible and lasts until the end of 2024 but there's a good chance for a potential continuation. The employment contract will be signed with Adecco Finland.

Work is located in Espoo but a hybrid or remote work is possible.
