Junior Drupal Developer

As a Junior Drupal Developer, you will join a close-knit team responsible for maintaining and enhancing a critical portal for our client. In this role, you will balance technical tasks like backend development with active client communication. Work tasks

A balanced role focusing on deep-dive Drupal maintenance, continuous small-scale system enhancements, and active collaboration with client stakeholders.

• Perform deep-dive maintenance tasks and resolve complex system tickets
• Develop, customize, and integrate Drupal 10+ modules
• Execute continuous small-scale and further system development
• Collaborate directly with the client's business and IT stakeholders to define requirements
• Build and optimize backend logic using PHP and MySQL
• Develop frontend logic and asynchronous operations using Node.js and JavaScript
• Deploy and manage cloud services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

We are looking for

• Basic knowledge of Drupal development (version 10+)
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and Node.js or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Nginx
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong motivation to learn, adapt, and actively engage with clients

It is meritorious if you have

• Good knowledge of Finnish
• Familiarity with Drush (Drupal command-line tools)
• Experience with Linux or Ubuntu environment administration
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
