Metsä Group is looking for an experienced
Manager, Strategy
to permanent position in its Strategy and Investments function.
What will you get to do?
This is a central role at the intersection of business and processes, where you will get to work with stakeholders in various parts of an organization. In this role as Manager, Strategy we expect you to contribute to the formulation of Metsä Group's corporate strategy in collaboration with Director, M&A and strategy as well as senior leadership across Metsä. You will participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and analyses as well as support the monitoring of strategy execution in Metsä.
Location for this position is Espoo and it reports to Director, M&A and Strategy.
What are we expecting of you?
A suitable background for the position is Master's degree in economics, engineering, finance, industrial management or comparable field. You are expected to have 3-5 years of experience from strategy consulting or from corporate strategy work in an industrial setting, ideally within forest products. You have proven track record of contributing to strategic initiatives. You need to have strong analytical skills as well as capabilities in communication, negotiation, and leadership. We appreciate ability to work with stakeholders in various parts of an organization. Fluent English is a must for this position, Finnish skills are an advantage.
