An exciting opportunity has arisen as Naval Architect in our Propulsion and Handling division at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of Sales Support team in Thruster Systems business, delivering support to our external and internal customers worldwide during sales projects.

Key accountabilities
- Evaluate and propose suitable thruster solutions to meet customer requirements
- Provide technical support to Sales and Sales Support, including evaluations and clarifications
- Perform hydrodynamic calculations such as speed prediction and bollard pull analysis
- Participate in customer meetings to support Sales Managers as needed
- Contribute to R&D initiatives and continuous product development
- Collaborate with the Kongsberg Maritime Hydrodynamics Research Centre
Qualifications and experience
- BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of propulsion systems/products is considered an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Willingness to travel as needed
