Senior people solutions owner who drives business impact through modern HR solutions

We are looking for a People Systems Lead to take strategic ownership of our People solutions portfolio, with a strong focus on Oracle HCM
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our People solutions deliver measurable business value and fully support the execution of our People Plan. You will work closely with business leaders, the People team, and our Tech (IT) function to define direction, prioritize development, and turn complex needs into impactful solutions.

Your role and impact of it
As the business owner of People solutions, you will:
- Own the business-driven vision, objectives, and roadmap for your solution area
- Define priorities and approve functional solutions to ensure alignment with business needs
- Act as a key interface between the People professionals, IT, and business stakeholders
- Monitor solution performance and evaluate its impact on the business
- Ensure People solutions are developed and implemented in a holistic, business-oriented way
This role nicely combines long-term direction-setting with hands-on development responsibility. In this role, you will provide operational leadership in a matrix organization, guiding and influencing experts and stakeholders without formal line management responsibility.
We are looking for someone with real-world HR partnering experience - someone who has actively partnered with leaders to support end-to-end people topics and translate business needs into impactful People solutions. Since we are strengthening the strategic alignment between our People function and the business.
For you to succeed in this role we are looking for:
- A relevant second level degree or equivalent degree
- 7-10 years of extensive experience in similar or more demanding expert or development roles
- Strong professional expertise in HR partnering with the business
- Deep understanding of HR processes and HR system solutions, preferably Oracle HCM
- A development-oriented and innovative mindset
- Proven change management skills and the ability to work effectively and lead in a matrix organization
- Experience in leading development initiatives, guiding other experts, and taking end-to-end responsibility for your domain
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) (Finnish-language skills being advantageous)

This position is located at Veikkaus' headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model minimum three days a week at the office.
