Introduction

We are looking for a Project Manager, Equipment Deliveries to join the Metals Business Area, Smelting Delivery team in Espoo, Finland. This role's primary responsibility is to successfully manage equipment delivery projects to meet the set targets. In this role, you will report to Director, Project Management.

This position is located in Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. The ability to travel occasionally to customer sites internationally is needed.

What you do

• Lead and manage global equipment delivery projects, including site activities with a typical project size of 1-10M€.
• Plan, organize, and execute projects to achieve financial, time, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Lead the project team consisting of various disciplines and specialists with encouraging manner enhancing the team spirit
• Maintain good relationship with customer and the other stakeholders of the project team
• Manage project risks, opportunities and change orders
• Report of projects' status to stakeholders
• Apply effectively Metso's Business processes and tools
• Uphold high safety standards in delivering all aspects of the projects, ensuring development of a strong safety culture and environmental awareness during all phases of the implementation

Who you are

• You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy or similar
• You have previous experience in project work, preferably as a project manager in customer delivery projects
• You can manage multiple projects and tasks while communicating assertively under pressure
• You have knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• You are proficient in common MS Office software. Knowledge of SAP ERP and Enovia are considered an asset. 
• You have fluent verbal and written communication skills in English 
• You are a proactive team player
• Experience in engineering is considered an asset
