Your role
We are looking for a QA Pharmacist to join our Quality Assurance Production Injection and Inhalation team. Your position is located at the Espoo plant. This is a fixed-term position until the end of December 2027.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to inspect batch documentation of manufactured and packaged batches and perform finished product inspection. The position requires on-site work at our Espoo plant. You will work as a quality specialist in close cooperation with other departments, especially production.

What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in pharmacy or another relevant field
- Fluency in Finnish
- Proficiency in English
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage.

Your new team
Quality management (QM) is responsible for ensuring the quality of materials, products and operations, as well as maintaining and developing the quality system and monitoring the regulatory environment. Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety unit is responsible for the global pharmacovigilance system of Orion Corporation and for the continuous safety surveillance, regulatory reporting and safety risk management activities of human and veterinary medicinal and non-medicinal products.
The QM function consists of about 350 experts who work in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality System, Method Development and the Pharmacovigilance & Drug safety unit. We are located in Espoo, Turku, Salo and Kuopio plants, in addition to the Quality Assurance team in India reporting dotted-line to QM.
The purpose of the Production Quality Assurance Department is to ensure the quality of operations, products, and materials at all stages of manufacturing and quality control. Quality assurance is responsible for the approval and release of pharmaceutical products for sale. Other key tasks of the department include ensuring compliance with GMP, as well as the evaluation and approval of documents. In total, about 55 people work in the Production Quality Assurance Department, ten of whom work in Injection and Inhalation QA team.
