We are looking for a Quality Assurance and Control Manager to strengthen how we build and release highquality software. You will play a key role in shaping endtoend product quality across our integrated product portfolio and work closely with product teams. This is an influential role where you ensure reliable releases and longterm product quality from requirements to release, while continuously improving quality practices across teams.
In this role, you report directly to the CTO, Timo Kaltio. The role is based in Finland, where you can work fully remotely or in a hybrid model from one of our offices in Turku, Tampere, Kotka, or Oulu.
What you will work on:

Owning consistent, endtoend quality of the full integrated product portfolio from requirements to release across teams

Leading the adoption of test automation and AI in testing, and driving continuous improvement through quality engineering initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

Driving continuous improvement and adoption of QA processes, standards, tools, and governance to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across all teams

Overseeing testing, validation, defect management, and verification on product and portfolio level and contributing to release readiness decisions

Defining quality metrics and monitoring test coverage, quality status, trends, and KPIs

Coaching teams to follow strong quality practices, building quality capability and knowhow across teams

Communicating quality objectives and status clearly, and coordinating quality expectations and practices with internal teams, customers, and external partners
What helps you succeed in this role:

Solid experience in QA/QC and quality engineering, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, agile development, and the SDLC

Proven experience applying test automation and AI to software quality practices in a similar role

Experience working with quality metrics, defect management, and continuous improvement

Ability to define, document, and communicate clear quality objectives to different stakeholders, both internal and external

A proactive, improvementoriented way of working and comfort coordinating across teams

A relevant degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a masters degree is preferred

Fluency in English
