Release Manager, Insurance

We are looking for a Release manager for versatile tasks in the insurance business to lead the deliveries of our releases. The work of a release manager consists of multiple aspects – from planning and coordinating the merges of different features from multiple scrum teams to mainline, to providing transparency of the release status to the stakeholders and ensuring that the release meets the quality criteria and customer expectations.
This is how you succeed with us
You have at least 7-8 years of hands-on work experience in leading releases and deliveries of scrum teams in a complex organization (as a scrum master/project manager/release manager...) and a proven track record of delivering high quality on a committed timeline. You understand the complex technical details and know how to effectively communicate those to business-oriented stakeholders. You are eager to learn, self-initiated and proactive, manage risks and conflicts well and you are excited about bringing your ideas to the table. Relevant certificates, technical understanding of agile application development and Jira/confluence/git knowledge will be an advantage for you.
The team you join
You will become part of a friendly and professional top team of around 20 people, who will be there for you whenever you need help. So, there is no need to fear that you will be left alone in your task. We work closely together and are actively in contact with various stakeholders. We are united by the desire to create added value for our customers.
Our offices are located in Espoo, Tampere, and Lappeenranta and we operate with a hybrid model, which requires some work to be done within our office. Also, relocation is not supported.
