Resort Manager

Sonka Resort is a forthcoming high-end Arctic resort developed by one of the leading tourism and experience groups in Lapland.
We are seeking an exceptional Resort Manager to take full operational responsibility of the resort.

This is a rare opportunity for a leader who wants to shape a resort, not manage a system.

This position is intended for an experienced hospitality leader with strong commercial judgment, operational depth, and the ability to lead with authority in a small, high-performance environment.
The role demands clarity, discipline, and the confidence to make decisions that impact both guest experience and financial outcomes.

- Has extensive experience in premium hospitality or resort operations
- Think commercially and understand full P&L responsibility
- Heads people through structure, trust, and high standards
- Is decisive, self-reliant, and comfortable with full accountability
- Understands what excellence means in a high-end context
- Prefer ownership and accountability over layered hierarchies
- Value quality, structure, and long-term thinking

Requirements:
- Proven leadership at senior level
- Fluent English and good Finnish
- Valid drivers license
- Based in Rovaniemi or within 30min from the resort

This is not a volume recruitment.
It is a strategic leadership appointment for someone who understands what it means to build, lead, and protect a high-end operation.

Start date: March. Permanent position.
