To strengthen our Hitachi Energy family, we are now looking for a Sales Manager for the Grid Automation business unit located in Vaasa, Tampere or Helsinki.

We as are extremely proud of our Grid Automation hardware, software and services portfolio that unites deep domain knowledge and innovative technologies that enable customers across the globe to optimize the critical systems that power, move and connect us. In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in promoting the implementation of digital solutions for our customers in Finland.

You will lead business discussions with customers and therefore a wide project solutions and products knowledge is needed. You must also enjoy helping our customers and channels by providing solutions to their problems. This role is a versatile role where you will have the opportunity to influence and develop our sales operation as well as work with world class products. Main Responsibilities

- Grid Automation portfolio sales and marketing activities for selected customers in Finland.
- Actively find new customers and partners and taking care of partner contracts and renewals.
- Taking active sales role by supporting and working closely with tendering teams.
- Co-operate opportunities and activities together with local units and FES organization.
- Develop sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Taking responsibility of local fairs and seminars. Making sure that our demos/products, brochures and references are well presented and updated.
- Sales and budget target follow up. Making sure the KPIs are on target level.
- Taking care of technical/product knowledge and updating that continually.

Your background

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer science or another related field.
- Sales driven and strong networking skills. Willingness to contact, serve and support our customers.
- Knowledge in Grid Automation portfolio business areas, e.g., Protection & Control, Substation Automation, SCADA, BESS, Energy Portfolio Management, Asset & Work Management, Communications.
- Good presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
- Willing to travel frequently for customer visits in Finland.
