Senior Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) - Telecom Systems

Job Overview:

Our client Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) to support, maintain, and develop enterprise applications used across telecom systems. The role focuses on ensuring stable operations, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the performance and ongoing development of applications running on diverse technology stacks. This is a fixed‑term (approx. 6 months) full‑time hybrid position based in Helsinki, Finland, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support, maintenance, and development for enterprise applications involving JBoss, PL/SQL, Atoll (Forsk), PHP, PowerShell, JavaScript, and C++
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform hands‑on L2/L3 operations and RCA
  • Support automation and performance optimization activities
  • Participate in future integrations with platforms such as Kafka, MariaDB, and Cassandra
  • Contribute in 24×7 operations and on‑call support
  • Maintain high customer orientation and quality awareness

Qualifications and skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in application support, enterprise applications or telecom systems
  • Proficiency with Atoll (Forsk), Actix (Forsk), JBoss, PL/SQL, PHP, PowerShell, JavaScript and C++
  • Experience integrating monitoring platforms with ticketing/notification tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of initiative and flexibility

Additional skills that are beneficial:

  • Kafka, MariaDB and Cassandra
