Are you an Automation or Electrical Engineering student looking for a summer job where you can see how data, systems, and real industrial operations come together?
Join Orion's Product Data Governance team and get hands-on experience in a regulated environment where your work directly supports pharmaceutical packaging and production.
In pharmaceutical serialization, each product package is given a unique identifier. This allows products to be tracked and verified throughout the supply chain and helps prevent counterfeit medicines. Serialization is a large, multi-organization process and touches many teams. Product Data Governance team ensures that the serialization master data is complete, consistent, accurate and available when needed. The role is especially well suited for students who enjoy working with technical systems, data quality, and understanding how different systems and teams are connected in practice.
This is a temporary full-time summer position approximately four months. The work location is Espoo or Turku, and we follow Orion's hybrid working practices.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Create and maintain serialization master data in internal systems
- Check data completeness and consistency to ensure high data quality
- Participate in dedicated development tasks and process improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as packaging development, manufacturing, quality, and IT

What are we looking for?
- You are in the early phase of your University and University of Applied Sciences level studies (Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field), B.Sc. not yet completed is fine.
- You learn quickly how different technical systems and processes work together.
- You have strong IT skills and readily adopt new systems.
- You work in a careful, systematic, and detail-oriented manner.
- You take initiative and have a problem-solving mindset.
- You enjoy teamwork and collaboration.
