Service Controller

In order to support our EMEA ROL Operations, we are now looking for a Service Controller to take care of reporting and controlling in ROL business unit in Finland and other assigned production units. The business unit provides Rolls and Workshop services from multiple production locations.

The main areas of responsibility are:

• Overall financial responsibility of the business and production units including reporting and controlling and supporting in budgeting and estimation processes.
• Providing strong business support for assigned ROL production units locally in Finland and in EMEA.
• Executing high quality of financial analysis and acting as a financial advisor to the heads of assigned production units in EMEA.
• Leading discussion around financial and production performance and helping business managers to understand the critical influencing factors behind the financial performance.
• Support in producing and developing financial reporting tools, formats and KPI follow-up in the business unit with other finance counterparties.
• Driving and supporting continuous quality improvements and cost management.
• Active role in integrating finance closer to business and production management.
• Participating in assigned development projects within business unit and EMEA area.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position we expect you to have:

• Willingness to learn and understand basic nature of Rolls and Workshop services business and organization
• Strong business and team working orientation with strong analytical skills
• Min. 3 years of working experience within the area of finance and controlling in similar positions
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Endurance for tight schedules and pressure
• Independent, proactive and renewal approach
• Earlier experience of production controlling environment is an advantage
• Experience in an international business environment and matrix organization is an advantage
• Communication skills both in Finnish and in English, including fluent spoken and written language
• Technical knowledge and skills for using finance related IT applications and MS Office
• Readiness for reasonable amount of travelling
• M.Sc. (Econ.) or equivalent, finance and accounting studies as major studies
