Service Manager, Specification Management

We are looking for a Service Manager for the specification management application in ABB IEC Low Voltage (IEC LV) Motors division. The role can locate either in Helsinki or Vaasa.

The application focuses on the early phase of handling incoming Request for Quotations (RFQs). RFQs often contain specifications that specify the technical standards for motor requirements. The goal of this application is digitalizing the entire process of extracting motor requirements from specifications and mapping motor requirements to motor configurations. Currently, our IEC LV Motors division is collaborating with various ABB divisions, which presents a unique opportunity for you to be part of this cross-divisional collaboration and write the future together with creative and motivated professionals.

Your responsibilities:
- Bridge the gap between our platform team and various ABB divisions with end-to-end responsibilities for the application development, operation, and maintenance:
Provide user support
Collect feature requests and issues from various ABB divisions
Facilitate decision making for incoming feature requests (analysis, present, prioritize)
Allocate relevant feature requests to either the platform team or division teams
Follow-up the delivery
- Project governance, demand, and delivery management
- Monitor project cost and budget, vendor agreement, and project resource
- Stakeholder management: leadership team, end-users, platform team, and division teams

Your background:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the given role or in a similar position
- Background in process and software development
- Experience in demand, delivery, and continuous operations management
- Experience in project management, especially related to process and software development
- Strong in stakeholder management, especially in relation to requirement/priority management with end-users and delivery management with vendors and IS
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn with can-do mindset
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in the relevant field
- Excellent in English; additional language skills are highly appreciated
- Ideally you have experience in:
- Customer requirement specification management, Configure-Price-Quote applications and processes, Scrum or other agile development framework, MS Azure DevOps, MS Azure Cloud
