As a Solution Owner, Customer Portal, you will be a visionary IM Solution Owner and Architect leading the development of the MyKalmar Customer Engagement Platform and related ecosystem. You will be responsible for transforming our digital interface into a world-class engine for collaboration and growth, bridging the gap between innovation and the user to deliver a frictionless, high-satisfaction customer journey. This is a brand-new role with the mandate to coordinate development and set the standard for digital excellence in our industry.

Preferred location for the role is Tampere, Finland, but candidates based in Helsinki and other Kalmar locations across Europe may also be considered.

What are your key responsibilities:

  • Customer Portal Development: Lead the planning, execution, and management of the global MyKalmar customer portal, translating business requirements into a comprehensive technology roadmap and overseeing new feature development.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Take charge of project definition, planning, resourcing, and execution, ensuring professional delivery on schedule and within budget, along with robust reporting and documentation.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Communicate effectively to bring together internal stakeholders, system architects, and external developers, while independently managing vendor quotation processes and selections.
  • Performance Optimization & Analytics: Maintain and improve the customer portal performance, conduct KPI reporting, and ensure high data content quality in cooperation with Kalmar Services business functions.
  • Adoption & Support: Provide key-user support and training, maximizing adoption and ensuring customers and internal users embrace and thrive within our digital ecosystem.

What you bring to the role:

  • Qualifications: Master's or Bachelor's degree in information technology, industrial engineering, computer science, business administration, or equivalent work experience, complemented by a solid commercial or technical background.
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in digital tools development and support, and working with ERP or other digital applications.
  • Technical & Architectural Understanding: Deep understanding of digital portals, related application architecture, system integrations, and established IM project and change management practices.
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional, multi-company, and multi-cultural projects under pressure, transforming innovative ideas into actionable global solutions.
  • Communication & Networking: Excellent spoken and written communication skills with a customer service mindset, enabling you to motivate individuals, manage vendors, and bring together diverse stakeholders into a global solution framework.
