We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team in Tampere.


What you'll do

As a Sourcing Manager, you will be working mainly with the fabrication category. Your main responsibilities are to improve total cost competitiveness, SRM, and overall supplier performance within your category. You will also support NPI to reach its goals. In this position, you will ensure compliance with Metso's procurement policies, and you are responsible for related contracts and spend management. You will also be continuously developing the procurement performance.
 

To Succeed

To succeed in this role, you should already have a few years of experience in procurement, including market and supplier analysis, negotiations, contract management, and purchase order flow. You have a good understanding of procurement processes, business environment, and ERP. SAP experience is seen as a benefit.
 

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology, economics, or another related field. You work and communicate fluently both in Finnish and in English. You also efficiently use the basic MS Office tools.

You have excellent negotiating and influencing skills. You also have the ability to network and you have a proactive communication style. Your working methods are self-reliant and systematic. You are also able to create and follow long-term plans and are a team player willing to support others.
