What makes this role different?
This is not a typical engineering job.
Instead of repeating the same routine every day, you’ll work in project cycles — typically 4–6 weeks on-site with customers around the world, followed by time back home before the next assignment.
You won’t just visit places — you’ll live and work in them.
Your role – from factory to fully operational system
Once a machine manufactured at our Seinäjoki production unit has been installed at the customer’s site, your work begins.
You will travel to customer locations around the world — from Europe to North America and Asia — to make sure everything runs exactly as it should.
You will:
- Upload software and test machine functionality
- Program and fine-tune machines to meet customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure the customer receives a fully operational, top-quality solution
You are the final and critical link between manufacturing and customer success.

You’ll likely enjoy this role if you:
- Have a background in electrical engineering or automation engineering
- Enjoy deep, hands-on technical work and solving complex problems
- Are comfortable working independently in new environments
- See travel as an opportunity, not a burden
- Are excited about spending approximately 150 days per year abroad
Good English skills are required. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage, but not mandatory.
This role does not require endless small talk at hotel breakfast tables — but it does require curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to feel at home wherever you are.
