System Specialist, ERP

Valmet is going full speed ahead with its business process transformation project, Leap Forward. This transformation program is rolling out new ERP processes and covers every part of Valmet's business globally.

To strengthen the team we are looking for an enthusiastic System Specialist (Configuration Owner) to join our multi-talented Leap Forward IT team, especially concentrating on Supply Chain processes.

In this role, you will together with the Global Process Owner and Concept Owners translate business requirements to IT solutions. After the solution creation you will be responsible for the integrity of common ERP landscape from your own area of responsibility by owning the respective system configuration and the relevant integrations to the surrounding systems in supply chain area. You will also be responsible for solution roadmap in the supply chain area, and manage application feasibility studies on requirement basis.

To succeed in this position you should have already some experience in ERP systems together with business understanding. However, this role gives you an excellent opportunity to develop your skills deeper in the IT field.

We are looking a professional with:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

• Applicable IT and / or business experience

• Experience with ERP (e.g. Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, Baan)

• Earlier knowledge about supply chain systems / processes is seen as a benefit

• Ability to quickly learn new and adapt new things

• Ability to work both independently and in a highly team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

• Experience of working in development project is seen as a benefit

Additional information:

The project team operates in Järvenpää. Järvenpää is the primary location but also Jyväskylä and Tampere can be taken into consideration. 

In this position, you will report to Johanna Viebrock-Kuosa, Manager, Leap Forward IT. In this role you work in close collaboration with the Leap Forward project team members, business stakeholders and Valmet IT.
