Test Automation Developer

For our client we are looking for a Test Automation Developer.

Your responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve test automation and CI pipelines
- Test case development for new features in industrial drives
- Analyze failures and lead root-cause investigations independently
- Participate in improving testing practices, tools, and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment

Your background:
- They are looking for a test-oriented mindset and willingness to build your career steps around test automation. You dont necessarily need long experience, but you should have a solid foundation and strong motivation to learn.

Required qualifications:
- Basic understanding of embedded software development and experience in software development - Hands-on experience of the following: Jenkins, Git, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering / electronics
- Good communication skills in English and team working skills
- Self-driven and proactive attitude - Willingness and ability to learn continuously
- Ability to take ownership and lead technical investigations independently

Considered as an advantage:
- Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC ecosystems and industrial fieldbuses
- Stronger programming skills: Ability to develop and debug frameworks, libraries, scripts
- Experience in: Test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipeline development
- Experience working as: Scrum Master or team lead (team facilitation skills)
- Finnish skills

Working environment:
- Team of ~7 testing and industrial automation experts
- Office at Pitäjänmäki (hybrid model, minimum 2 days a week at office)

Location: Helsinki, Finland
Allocation: 100 %
Start date: As soon as possible
End date: Not set, likely at least one year
Language: Fluent in English
