Mandatum Asset Management (MAM) is looking for a real estate investment professional to join our Real Estate Investment team in a 12-month fixed-term, project-based role.

This fixed-term position is created to support the team during a temporary capacity need and to strengthen our hands-on execution in growing real estate business areas.

Your role

You will work closely with the direct real estate investment team, contributing to real estate portfolio management and transaction-related activities. The role has a strong hands-on and execution-oriented focus, suited for someone who enjoys coordinating processes, solving practical problems, and actively engaging with stakeholders.

Depending on your experience, you may also be entrusted with portfolio responsibilities.

This is not a trainee or purely analytical role - we are looking for someone who can step in, take responsibility, and support the team immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Actively supporting real estate transactions (acquisitions and divestments), including coordination of sales processes

• Data room work, preparation of materials and collection of asset-level information

• Supporting asset and portfolio management activities together with senior team members

• Coordinating with external stakeholders such as property managers, advisors and counterparties

• Direct communication with target companies, managers and partners when needed

• Supporting value creation initiatives, liquidity actions and portfolio/asset optimisation projects

• Participating in ad hoc projects related to portfolio development and strategy execution

While analytical skills are required, the emphasis is on execution, coordination, and delivery rather than pure modelling or research.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a proactive, communicative, and hands-on professional with prior experience in real estate.

You bring

• Relevant work experience in real estate investment and/or asset management

• Experience in real estate transactions is essential

• A practical, execution-driven mindset - you take ownership and move things forward

• Confidence to communicate directly with stakeholders and counterparties

• Strong communication skills in Finnish and English

• Ability to work independently while being an active team player

• Understanding of how real estate portfolios and assets operate in practice

• Solid Excel and PowerPoint capabilities, and motivation to improve ways of working by adopting new tools and AI-supported solutions where they add value

• Is comfortable coordinating processes and dealing with multiple interfaces

• Knows your strengths and limitations and works responsibly

• Enjoys working with people and solving real-life problems

• Is more "doer-oriented" than purely analytical
