As part of that change, we are now looking for a
ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT
to join Finnair's Digital Transformation & Architecture team.
In this role, you translate Finnair's business and digital strategy into clear enterprise architecture across business capabilities, processes, information, applications, and technology.
You work closely with business leaders, product/solution teams, strategy, and finance to define future-state architectures, identify key gaps, and shape transformation roadmaps that drive real business value.
What You Will Do:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:

Translate business strategy and operating model changes into enterprise architecture direction and target states.

Define and maintain business capabilities, value streams, and architecture models for assigned domains.

Perform end-to-end gap analysis across business, data, application, technology, and skills layers.
-
Support strategic planning, investment prioritization, and business cases with architectural insight.
-
Co-create domain and enterprise roadmaps aligned with portfolio planning and financial cycles.
-
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, product owners, and digital teams.
-
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to shape roadmaps and future solution options.
-
Maintain and govern architecture assets, principles, and standards in EA tools.
-
Promote architecture-led decision-making and continuous improvement of EA practices.
What are we looking for?

Senior-level experience (typically 8+ years in IT/digital roles).

Strong ability to build holistic, end-to-end understanding of business domains.

Ability to align architecture with business strategy, operating models, and portfolio management.

Proven experience in enterprise or domain architecture, target setting, and roadmapping.

Experience with capability mapping, gap analysis, and architectural decision support.
-
Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture tools.
-
Solid understanding of data, information management, and modern technology platforms.

Experience working in agile, product-oriented environments.
-
Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.

Delivery-oriented mindset with practical, hands-on approach.

Excellent English communication skills.
