Junior Language Specialist with German

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Localization
Review and validation of machine learning translation corpora
Rating
Translation
Annotation
Ad hoc linguistic tasks

Skills:
Native speaker of the target language, including major regional and linguistic variants
Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the target language (e.g. grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)
Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts
Proven experience in annotation, translation, localization, linguistic QA, rating
Excellent oral and written communication skills in native language as well as in English
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently with confidence and little oversight
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex guidelines accurately
Grasping technical concepts and learning new tools
Formal academic linguistic education is a plus
