Introduction

We are now looking for a Pricing Manager to join our Global Pricing and Analytics team. Being part of Services Business Area but serving Aftermarket globally in matrix, the Global Pricing and Analytics team is responsible for providing information and analytics related to prices, sales and customers for our internal stakeholders. We facilitate pricing discussions and information flow between product lines and market areas and govern list prices and pricing processes for regional, intercompany and distribution network pricing.

We get to work with many different stakeholders globally. One recent major undertaking lead and coordinated by us is the implementation of a new Aftermarket pricing software currently being deployed at Metso. Active participation in the co-development of the system, its usage and processes will be focal also in this role.

This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with world-class B2B pricing management in a truly global industrial setting, working with and learning from experts in various fields and across multiple continents.       This role is focused on individual contribution and does not include people management responsibilities.  In this position, you will report to Kirsi Sihvonen, Director, Global Pricing & Analytics.    The preferred locations for this position are Espoo or Tampere in Finland. We are happy to offer hybrid working arrangements.     What you'll do  

  • Develop and maintain pricing for your Business Line of responsibility
  • Master pricing-related system use, provide insight into usage and opportunities and participate in feature development evaluation and prioritization
  • Work closely with the pricing community in the Business Lines, Market Areas and other key stakeholders to align and implement pricing strategies
  • Provide analysis and insight on the pricing of your focus area, utilizing e.g. Power BI and distributed analysis decks
  • Support technical development in other pricing-related tools
  • Provide ad-hoc support in team tasks as needed

    Who you are  

  • You have relevant and recent pricing experience, preferably from b2b industry
  • You have a good understanding of common pricing strategies and models
  • You have recent experience from a pricing management and/or optimization software
  • You have a strong business acumen and growth mindset combined with analytical thinking
  • You have a degree for example in a relevant technical, commercial or analytics field
  • You have advanced skills in Excel and hands-on experience with Power BI
  • You have strong skills in written and spoken English
  • Your working style is responsible, professional, proactive and collaborative
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP environment and Power BI development are considered as advantages 
  • Applicants must have a valid work permit for Finland. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role
