About the role

The role offers an opportunity to work at the interface of research, innovation, public funding, and industry collaboration. Key responsibilities include supporting external communications, creating content for program channels, monitoring relevant EU funding opportunities, assisting with webinars and ecosystem events, and helping maintain stakeholder information and project-related materials. The position is well suited for a proactive and organized student with strong communication skills and an interest in innovation, research, and collaborative ecosystems.

Work tasks

The role involves a mix of communication and content creation, event coordination, and administrative support to maintain the program's innovation ecosystem.

  • Draft articles and news content for program communication channels
  • Support newsletter creation and distribution to ecosystem partners
  • Prepare materials and support practical arrangements for webinars and workshops
  • Monitor and identify relevant EU funding opportunities
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and update tracking files
  • Assist with reporting and general project coordination activities
  • Coordinate invitations and participant communications for ecosystem events

We are looking for

  • University student (Bachelor's or Master's level); preferably in marketing/communications or related field

  • Full command of Finnish language skills in writing and verbally.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong experiences in communications, content creation, marketing, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Startup and innovation environment experience

  • Interest in innovation, research, and public funding environments

  • Familiarity with EU funding programs and funding instruments
