We are seeking a Senior EIA Engineer to join the Equipment Engineering team in Lappeenranta.
What you’ll do
- Plan, lead, and participate in the detailed design work in equipment delivery projects
- Ensure designs comply with Customer requirements and location-specific codes, standards, and legislation
- Provide technical support for Product Management, Sourcing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Service activities
- Determine discipline cost structures and hour budget
- Be accountable for the technical quality and on-time delivery of design work
- Grow to be an expert in the Filtration technology area
Who you are
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrification or automation
- From 10 to 15 years of experience in EIA engineering
- Know-how on PLC/iPC-controlled systems
- Know-how on EIA engineering- and product data management tools
- Understanding of productization
- Knowledge of Machinery Safety and corresponding international regulations and standards
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and work with others
- Project-oriented working methods
- Good spoken and written Finnish and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing workshops
