System Specialist, IT
We are looking for a System Specialist to be part of the IT Infrastructure Team of five experts. The focus for this role will be high performance computing that serves our internal CFD and Structural Analysis teams.
Your role and the team
Infrastructure Team delivers capacity services e.g. networks, platforms, disaster recovery and technical solutions for cybersecurity. With good team spirit and self-directed working methods, the team will maintain and develop services. When necessary, we will give consultancy to our business units on IT related matters.
This role is based in Turku, Jyväskylä or Tampere - just tell us your preferred location in your application! The role requires travelling to our other offices in Finland occasionally.
Infrastructure Team is a part of the Information Technology & Digital Transformation organization. Our organization has 60 specialists for different functions, and we offer digital modern, scalable, secure services for our users globally and support business units to enhance digitalization for our customers.
As a colleague, we expect you to be customer-focused and adaptable. We expect you to be a link between core ICT and CFD and Structural Analysis teams. You will work as a technical expert on their hardware infrastructure, software and licensing.

What helps you succeed in this role
- A relevant educational background for the job (minimum bachelor's degree)
- At least a couple of years of work experience in similar tasks
- Good written and spoken English and Finnish
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- A strong knowledge of Linux server operating systems, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and virtualization environments as well as bare metal servers
Please let us know if you also have knowledge of the following areas
- High performance computing environments (HPC)
- Experience in using or supporting use of CAE software such as Ansys, StarCCM+, Abaqus or similar
- CAE working principles or needs related to computing
- Windows server operating systems
- Networking and information security in HPC environments
