We are now looking for a Workshop Test Leader to strengthen our Workshop department in Jyväskylä, Finland.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the build-up of test cars and organizing daily workshop test operations. You will work closely with engineering, design, production, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient execution across functions.
Your responsibilities include planning and allocating resources for test activities, coordinating test schedules across multiple test cars, and organizing team assignments to ensure timely and high-quality test execution. In addition, you will be involved in troubleshooting technical issues during testing, supporting root cause analysis, and ensuring that vehicle systems perform as expected under demanding conditions.
In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will also act as the team leader for our Workshop Test team of approximately 16 members. This includes providing day-to-day guidance, support, and leadership to ensure the team's development and performance.
In your daily work, you will utilize our ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, as well as our PLM tools Siemens Teamcenter and Testlogger.
We are not looking for a perfectly shaped expert. Instead, we value the right mindset, curiosity, and motivation to grow with us. You do not necessarily need to have extensive leadership experience, we also welcome candidates with strong future potential.
You will be working in an international environment where English is used daily, so strong communication skills in English are essential. We also appreciate a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work in a dynamic and occasionally fast-paced environment.
