We are looking for
Dynamics 365 Project Operations Developer
to work for our customer Metso. Metso offers sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries globally. It improves its customers' energy and water efficiency, increase their productivity, and reduce environmental risks with its product and service expertise.
Dynamics 365 Project Operations Developer should have a strong hands-on experience in Project Management & Accounting (PMA/PMP) modules and advanced development expertise within the Power Platform, especially Canvas Apps. He will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and project managers to design, customize, and enhance Project Operations processes across the organization.
Work Period: 2.2.-31.12.2026
Working Hours: Align with EET / CET time zones
Work Mode: 100% remote, but ability to join PI Planning sessions in Espoo, Finland, four times per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 Project Operations and PMA/PMP modules.
- Build and maintain solutions using Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps).
- Develop custom workflows, plugins, N52 formulas ,integrations, and automation using Powe Automate and Dataverse.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with functional teams to enhance project management, resource management, scheduling, and cost control processes.
- Support integrations between Project Operations and other systems (ERP, CRM, Finance).
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support and improvements.
- Ensure best practices, governance, and documentation standards are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Project Operations / Project Service Automation.
- Hands-on development experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Platform architecture.
- Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, plugins, and custom workflow activities and N52 formulas.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using Jira
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience of ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
- Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, or Data Factory.
- Familiarity with integration patterns, REST APIs, and data migration tools.
This job can be done in an employment relationship with Nico or as a subcontractor for Nico, depending on your wishes.
