About the Role
We are expanding our in-house Salesforce -team and seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with a strong enthusiasm and desire to continuously learn more about the Salesforce platform and grow their expertise as part of our team.
In this role you will design scalable solutions, integrate external systems and emerging AI capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll be a trusted technical partner to the business, collaborating with our team to ensure Salesforce best practices are applied and put into action. You will work with a small but growing internal team and play a key role in evolving and future-proofing our Salesforce setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and contribute to implementing scalable solutions.
- Translate stakeholder needs into effective, user-friendly solutions while ensuring platform usability and performance for both internal and external users.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom and standard Salesforce applications, integrations, and interfaces, ensuring high code quality, security, and compliance with both Salesforce and Alma standards.
- Build and optimize features and automation using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows; troubleshoot and support existing functionality and managed packages.
- Contribute to DevOps processes with SFDX, GitHub, and CI/CD, ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce new functionalities, especially AI features.
- Take proactive responsibility in driving change to strengthen the platform.
Key Skills and Expectations
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including low-code development and Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, and building integrations.
- Experience with API integrations (RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, JWT) to connect Salesforce with external systems.
- Familiarity with external identity providers (SSO).
- Knowledge of Salesforce’s AI features or a willingness to quickly learn and apply these new tools.
- Ability to contribute scalable solutions, as well as hands-on development, maintenance, and bug fixing.
- Comfortable with mainly low-code development and maintenance
- Experience in Agile development environments with strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as end user support in English and Finnish.
- Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Platform Developer or JavaScript Developer I, are considered an advantage
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and modern data integration approaches (e.g., zero-copy integration) is a plus.

We work in a hybrid model across Finland. In this position, you would primarily work at Alma's head office - Alma House, located in the heart of Helsinki. Our locations are accessible.
