The Grid & Power Quality Solutions unit in Hitachi Energy operating in Finland, Sweden and Denmark is growing and will increase resources in the coming years.

The market is experiencing the highest growth since industrialization age, with investments and new electrical capacity being built for utility HV substations, renewables and green fuel production, such as hydrogen and ammonium production. The process industries electrify their production processes and the increased usage of data results in heavy investments into large hyperscale datacenters.

Additionally there are electrification investments needed in power electronics with HVDC (high voltage direct current) transmission systems as well as heavy investments into power quality systems (FACTS).

The unit will invest and build competences to work in all these market segments and customers, and is looking for professionals in all professions needed for these builds: Project and site managers, lead engineers, electrical/mechanical/civil engineers as well as supporting functions such as project controllers, buyers, planners, document controllers and project specialists.
